Under the Sea: Coral Reefs. Jean-Michel Cousteau hosts this
excellent, interactive production that provides an in-depth exploration
of the science and ecology of coral reefs for students grades 5-12.
The interface is styled like a high tech research submarine, which transports
the user to 7 undersea laboratories including: Living Communities, Chance
and Evolution, Biodiversity, Cycles, and Adaptations. Information is
presented using a good balance of video, slide shows, animation, text
and narration. A "Hot Topics" game allows users to discuss
and debate key issues affecting reefs. Teacher's guide included. Formatted
